Jade Cargill: I Am A Unicorn Of Wrestling Right Now, Let Me Talk To New Day Before I Run With That

Jade Cargill believes she is a unicorn in wrestling.

Jade Cargill made her in-ring debut in front of no fans at Daily's Place during the pandemic, teaming with Shaquille O'Neal against Cody Rhodes & Red Velvet. Cargill spent her first months in wrestling performing in front of no fans before the pandemic ended.

TKO President Mark Shapiro: We're Looking To Expand WWE-Saudi Deal To More Events

Now, Cargill is performing in front of millions in the arena and on television as a member of the WWE roster.

Speaking to Tim & Eli on Battleground, Cargill was asked what Daily's Place Jade would say about WWE Jade.

"It doesn't seem that far away. I think it's harder performing in front of your co-workers with the pandemic days. If anything, everybody knows everything so it's more nerve-racking for me to perform in front of my co-workers rather than performing in front of fans. I love fans. I welcome fans. The European crowd was, wow, it was crazy. If anything went off the rails, they were like, 'YAY! YEAH!' It's crazy. With the Daily's Place days, I wouldn't think I would be here right now. I would think I would still be where I was. I knew I was destined for great things. I know that I am the unicorn of wrestling right now. Would I think I would be in this position? No, but I knew I was destined for great things," she said.

When the idea of unicorn merchandise came up, Cargill said with a laugh, "Let me talk to [New Day] first before I run with that."

Cargill & Bianca Belair won the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles from Asuka & Kairi Sane at WWE Backlash.

Cargill is set to compete in the Queen of the Ring tournament, taking on Piper Niven in the first round.
