Joey Janela revisits an old site.
A24 is producing a new documentary on deathmatch wrestling and Joey Janela is set to be featured in some way. Janela has become one of the top independent wrestlers in the world, making his him in GCW and creating his own brand with Joey Janela's Spring Break events during WrestleMania week.
Janela first went viral in the inaugural GCW Tournament of Survival when he faced Zandig. Zandig picked up Janela and the two men went falling off the roof and onto a truck bed of barbed wire boards and light tubes.
Zandig suffered a broken back as a result of the fall.
Shooting something for the A24 documentary, Janela revisited the roof and commented, "stupid."
Fightful will provide more details on the documentary when they are known.
Janela is set to challenge Blake Christian at Spring Break 8 on April 5.
